Setting up Your Vehicles

Different areas of the program are accessed by selecting the appropriate button near the top of the window. To set up your vehicles, click the Vehicles button, then use the grid to enter your vehicle information. Use the database navigator (explained in the topic Database Controls) to create additional records as needed.

The Report Column

When a check is placed in the Report column, that vehicle will be included on task reports. Vehicles can be selected for reporting by category by using the Select by Category controls shown below. You can select a category (or select All), then click on the small button with the check or the small button without the check to add or remove checks from all vehicles in the selected category.

Sorting Vehicles

Vehicles can be sorted by several of the fields shown in the vehicles grid. To impose a sort order, drop down the Sort list and select a field to sort on.

Setting Up Categories

Click the Vehicle Categories button at the bottom of the Vehicles tab to edit the list of categories to which vehicles can be assigned. The Vehicle Categories window will open, where you can edit, add, or delete categories. Use the database controls in the window to help accomplish these tasks. The categories contained here determine the category tabs shown across the top of the Vehicles screen.
